Sino-Professional Club of Houston, Texas, was founded in May 1992
as a non-profit and friendship organization.
Our main objective is to bring to our members a variety of
goodwill social activities and cultural events so as to broaden our social
circles and enrich our off-work life. We are determined to promote the
mutual understanding and respect with other local communities, including
those Asian and Chinese organizations. We are also dedicated to communicating
and fostering good relationships with various organizations in China, and
promoting scientific and technological exchanges.
Our Club has grown from the original 50 members to today's 250+ strong. The
majority of our members came from Mainland China, and have earned advanced
degrees (M.S., Ph.D.) in various fields such as science and engineering,
legal, financial, accounting and banking services, just to name a few.
Most of us are professionals working for companies, unversities and
government offices located here in Houston.
